HOME COLOUR TIPS
If you plan to color your hair better postpone washing it at least day or two longer than usual. Natural greasiness produced by hair protects the scalp from irritation, helps you apply the color more easily and make it evenly distributed throughout the hair.
GOLDEN RULE!
When making decision on which color shade you will color your hair next, keep in mind that you should go only two shades lighter or darker than your natural hair. This will guarantee the success of home coloring. If the change you want is more drastic we recommend visiting professional.
ALWAYS START AT THE BACK
When coloring at home always start at the back, in area where hair is naturally darker
and then gradually coloring finish with hair around the face. This is to be followed while hair tends to be more porous and thinner at front so it will absorb the color quicker and you might end up with hair looking very dry.
RECOMMENDED USE
We recommend waiting at least 48 hours after coloring before you shampoo your hair. This allows the color to set into the shaft of the hair better instead of simply coat the hair.
COLDER IS BETTER!
When it comes to the water temperature this is advice that applies. Why? Head pores tend to open up in warm environment which makes them weaker and more vulnerable, resulting in hair that is more susceptible to breakage, fallout and dryness when beautiful oils
secreted by the scalp get dissolved in warm water. Cold water does not dissolve these natural oils and narrows the pores, making your hair healthier, more resistant and stronger. So, next time you'll be washing your hair try lowering down the temperature, even if only for the final rinse, the difference will be evident.
SHINY HAIR!
Colored hair dries faster and because of that it needs to be adequately protected. Hair Masks are ideal against dryness and will bring back freshness and glow. Apply mask at least once a week and your color will stay beautiful much longer.
